Star Trek Warps into Theaters with Some Early Showings May 7th

After a long wait, the J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek movie is almost here. Originally scheduled for a December 2008 release, the movie got pushed out to May because of the larger audience potential of the Summer season. Wide release of the movie to all theaters will be Friday, but some IMAX and conventional theaters will have showings on May 7th. Much anticipated by Star Trek fans as well as general movie-goers, this one looks poised to break the box office for the Summer (it is currently leading in our poll on which movie will take the top draw in May). So tell us when you plan on seeing the movie:

Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Complex is showing Star Trek in IMAX starting opening night (May 7). It’s all the buzz here in Central Florida. Pretty cool place to watch the Star Trek. I’m pretty sure you need to get tickets in advance on the website – http://www.kennedyspacecenter.com.
